The Salvation Army has been serving the San Antonio community since 1889, providing emergency shelter and transitional housing for men, women and families experiencing homelessness. The Salvation Army also provides assistance in crisis situations in order to prevent homelessness. Working to develop today’s youth The Salvation Army offers the Child Development Center for infants through school-aged children as well as the Boys and Girls Club for children ages 6-18.
