The Greater Hartford Women's Auxiliary is an organization that works hand in hand with The Salvation Army, “Doing the Most Good.” The Women's Auxiliary is comprised of outstanding women in the community who through their influence or activity further the work of The Salvation Army. Their unique skills and experience help coordinate activities that include special fund raising and furnishing volunteer workers. This year alone, the Women’s Auxiliary has been able to award thousands of dollars in grants through their fund raising efforts. These awards assist many in the Greater Hartford area serviced by: the Marshall House Homeless Shelter for women and families, Veterans at the Veterans Hospital, as well as children’s camp and preschool programs.
