Youth Groups and Youth Generosity Help The Salvation Army Stay on the Front Lines of Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
Hurricane Harvey caused widespread damage across Texas, and The Salvation Army is providing food, hydration, shelter, and emotional and spiritual care to survivors and relief workers. #HarveyYouthShare is a special initiative to measure and display the impact of church youth groups and young people in Christ, committed to Doing the Most Good in His name, on behalf of those most in need. This includes children, teens, and youth, just like some of you, who have been displaced with their families in the midst of this storm. Salvation Army disaster teams from across the country will remain in impacted communities to support long-term recovery efforts, and we need your help.
The efforts of youth ministries and young people to spread the word, donate, and encourage others to donate, can significantly elevate The Salvation Army's capacity to lift others out of this terrible disaster. Be a voice for those in need by using #HarveyYouthShare and sharing the salar.my/YouthShare donation link. Grab your friends and family members, online or in person, and make a donation to The Salvation Army that will impact lives for years to come.
"Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
