The Salvation Army STOP-IT Program uses trauma-informed strategies to prevent, identify and respond to all forms of human trafficking in Chicago and the Northern District of Illinois.
The STOP-IT Program supports survivors of sex and labor trafficking through intensive case management services, aids survivors in crisis through our 24-hour hotline, and operates a biweekly low threshold drop-in space for female identified youth vulnerable to sexual exploitation.
Our supportive services are founded upon the premise that it is a fundamental human right to be free from exploitation in all its forms. We believe that every person has inherent dignity and worth. We are committed to battling against social injustice in order to uphold these values and ultimately eradicate human trafficking.
This #RedKettleReason fundraiser will support the program in the fight against human trafficking by enhancing the lives of the survivors we walk alongside. Do your part and #fightforgood this holiday season!
