For 130 years, The Salvation Army of Kalamazoo has existed to meet human needs in Jesus' name without discrimination. Today, we continue in our mission to serve the residents of Kalamazoo County, Plainwell and Otsego. Through social services like utility assistance and a community food pantry, we are meeting basic needs of the most vulnerable. By offering Pathway of Hope case management and Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, we are offering an avenue to self sufficiency. After school programs and summer day camps offer a safe space for children to grow and learn together. All these services and more are funded through donations from our generous community. Donations stay local and 88% of each dollar is spent on services to those in need.
