What is The MOST Amazing Race?

Like the popular TV show, The Salvation Army’s MOST Amazing Race gives teams of two an all-access pass as they race around Arlington. Teams follow clues to reach checkpoints, where they complete a task before moving on to the next location. The tasks can be mental, like assembling a gas pipeline, or physical, like performing a choreographed dance. Sometimes tasks are down-right thrilling, like jumping off a 10-meter diving platform. Others are just plain fun, like bouncing across a field inside a giant inflatable ball.

When and where is the race?

The race will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2017 and feature challenges all around Arlington, TX. The race will begin at a central Arlington location.  Up to 40 teams will travel on foot or on Salvation Army buses to get to each checkpoint.

Who can participate?

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in all race events. Officers and employees of The Salvation Army are not eligible to compete. A team with the same two members is only eligible to win the race three times.

This year we are adding a Emergency Responders Challenge.  Please email bridget.lenhardt@uss.salvationarmy.org for more information

Why should I participate?

The MOST Amazing Race is one of the most unique race experiences for all skills and fitness levels. Even more importantly, it is a fundraiser for The Salvation Army’s programs, and your participation helps people in need. (Learn more about the impact.) In fact, the more money you raise, the bigger your time advantage on race day.

How much does it cost?

The registration fee is $125, and this fee meets your minimum fundraising requirement to be eligible to compete. (Learn more about team fundraising.)
