Want a day of adventure and fun without all the pressure of racing? Be a MOST Amazing Race volunteer! Race volunteers are assigned to one or more challenge locations in Downtown Memphis to set-up and clean-up challenges, judge teams, regulate team traffic, and even test the challenges themselves. Volunteers also help with starting line registration. We need more than 100 volunteers each year to make this event run smoothly. Groups are welcome. All volunteers must register independently.
Anyone who is ready to have fun and willing to be active. Volunteers should be at least 16 years of age. Kids ages 8 to 15 are welcome with an adult.
Check in time on Saturday. March 25 is at 7am at Handy Park on Beale St. Volunteers will be sent to their Challenge locations following pre-race meeting. Volunteers should expect to be at their Challenge location until the last team has completed (roughly 12pm at last stop) or if moved at Event Staff discretion.
Several days before the race, volunteers will receive an email with an assigned, top-secret location and exact arrival time. On race day, they meet our staff captain(s) at that location.
Volunteers should be prepared to be active! Locations are both outdoors and indoors. The confirmation email will give complete details about the location assignment and what to bring. A Volunteer T-shirt and water will be provided to all volunteers.
Volunteers are invited to the finish-line festivities after their challenge is complete to cheer teams on and enjoy a great lunch following our race on Beale St.
Are you good at giving direction? We need you!
Are you a part of a group? We love group volunteers, and of course individuals. :)
This looks like fun!
